Originally released in 1985, Power of the Night stands as Savatage’s major-label debut on Atlantic Records and their sophomore full-length album. Produced by renowned metal producer Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth), the record captures the Florida metal titans bridging raw, aggressive speed metal and the polished, melodic hard rock of the mid-1980s.

Featuring heavy riffing from legendary guitarist Criss Oliva and the soaring vocals of Jon Oliva, Power of the Night features iconic early metal tracks like the anthemic title song, "Warriors," and the haunting power ballad "In the Dream". It also marks the final album appearance of original bassist Keith Collins.

This 2011 earMUSIC remastered edition comes housed in a digipak with restored artwork, enhanced audio quality, liner notes, and two live bonus tracks recorded during the band's peak 1990 tour.
